People's Park in the Sky | Unplanned Tagaytay Jaunt | part1

Super late post - April 30. 2011

Unplanned Tagaytay Jaunt | part 1
Powertrip #001
Early noon, the classes dismissed so we could have our lunch at chades, our favorite tapsilogan, from school you’ll ride one jeep to Remigio st., cor bambang sta. cruz manila, if you want to fully satisfy your stomach and enjoy delicious recipe in Chades. I strongly recommend it.  Most visited Tapsilugan in Metro Manila. :D

Together with Gelo and Tonying, just the 3 of us, an impromptu decision made after we had lunch at Chades, well infact, an altered decision! Original plan is to know whereas AFPMC (Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Center) located for his (gelo) next center rotation.

Gelo: Ano kaya kung magTagaytay tayo ngayon?
Intian: Weh? Tara!! (With doubted face, agad kong tinignan ung pierce ko and I found 1K so leggo!)
Tonying: Sakin Ok lang. (hindi nawawalan yan, palaging may baon)
Gelo:Tara: Tara! (Unpredictable intuition he has all the time!)

Sometimes, a whirlpool tour is much more exciting compare to the planned one, most likely, those unplanned events, yung tipong out of nowhere suggestion, regardless of time, place and “kahit nakaSchool uniform pa” , make thrill of the excitement and meant to be put on record!

Arranging an on- the- spot IT for Tagaytay venture, we came up first with visiting the Peoples Park in the Sky.

Let’s begin…

All the way from Chades, we headed to Gil Puyat Station (Buendia) to ride a bus (Take note: nagtitipid kami so lulan kami ng Ordinary bus – P67).

After almost 3 hours, few steps walked by foot from Balibago to Balibago jeep terminal,
we ride on a jeep routed to People’s Park for about 30 minutes (P23)

At Balibago Jeep Terminal

Here we are at People’s Park in the Sky.
(With the Samsung Corby I got for capturing great great sceneries, not fabulous pixels but enough to cherish million moments.)

Before entering and passing the gate of people’s park.

Let’s have solo picture first… each of us!

PPS (People’s Park in the Sky) is formerly known as Palace in the Sky. It was an unfinished mansion of ex-president Ferdinand Marcos sited atop Mt. Sungay and supposedly a guesthouse for US Ex-Pres. Ronald Raegan. Today, It is open to the public to experience combination of natural and man-made sceneries.

Directory… let’s see if we could land our feet to all areas of people’s park in the Sky.

Total Sightseeing...

The sun is shining, the sky is foggy.. - somewhat perfect!
because below this stand is a mejestic view, fresh air and green land!
but ohh, Is this dangerous? No! but the rusty metal rails can be dangerous... it hurts your naked eyes the way you look into some old and rusty structures.
*I think... you have already think what I think for resolution...

View of Highlands from PPS and Taal lake and Vocano.

Amphitheater. Also, Mt. Makiling can be seen here...

A mini amphitheater is also one of the man-made view in PPS. I just cant imagine what tourists stand for this amphitheater. Well, I see it old and dirt, recommendation to perfect person is indispensable for restoration and beautification. I haven't heard if this mini amphitheater is still active for any activities but if it will be restored immediately, it will caught the attention of many tourists.

Awesome and wonderful performances in amphitheater were tourists hope and love to see.

And You Barely ask for More!
Here are some great views PPS offers for your wide big closer beautiful eyes.

He's sitting on top of a semi big rock and sightseeing over the Taal lakes, and probably, reminiscing of something! or asking the Sky if someone can tell how light a sheet of paper is, for the feeling is a kind of liberation, all worries and fears, difficulties and hardships were thrown over this awe-inspiring Palace.

PPS Garden!
One way or another direction, you'll see people passing ahead to witness heartwarming naturalness of Tagaytay, smoothly wandering around while appreciating everything else along the way with great smile and blooming posture with their hightech innovative cameras, running and climb up a little for better sceneries.
